I get so tired of hearing "The Preterists never answer
(INSERT SUBJECT/ VERSE/OBJECTION) *********** When you're given an answer you disagree with, you've been given an answer, simply not a satisfactory one. Please have and express some level of Intellectual Honesty. Ezekiel 40-48 and Zechariah 14 are a no-brainier! Did Christ offer the woman at the well, Living Waters? (John 4:10-11) Did Christ tell the Disciples that Living Waters would flow from their bellies? (John 7:38) What does Zechariah 14:8 say? And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. Now read verses 13 and 14, (this is civil war; neighbors turning on
neighbors) now read Mt 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the
brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise
up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. and Mt 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against
her mother in law. See it? Now go read Josephus or Tacitus and read how Rome withheld sacking
Jerusalem (for a while) because they were slaughtering each other
inside the city, and all over Israel. Massive Civil War broker out in Jerusalem after a rebellion killed the Roman Garrison of Soldiers in Jerusalem. That was more than enough for Rome to swallow; and the rest as they say, IS HISTORY! Otherwise known as PRETERISM! Just because you don't believe it, you have been shown it. Read Ezekiel 40:1 In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in
the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the
fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the
hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither. In the 25th year of the 70 year captivity in Babylon, Ezekiel receives a
vision of their next temple. This Temple was built upon their return to
Jerusalem, and would witness nearly 200 attacks until being torn down,
and having Herod's Temple replace it. It's all recorded in history. Doubt it all you want, too many things add up, but Futurists don't
know most of what Fulfilled Eschatology is; they just think they do. If you've got questions about Fulfilled Eschatology (Preterism) just ask; and know, I'll answer. You may not like what you hear; with even an occasional "I don't
know" or "I'm not sure" or even "I haven't made my mind up about that
aspect yet" and sometimes, questions asked don't make sense, or need
further clarification, or even qualification. No one is a know-it-all, and that includes us Preterists.
