The knowledge of good and evil; is this a bad thing after all?

The knowledge of good and evil is the carnal mind itself, and as long as mankind walks in his present (human) condition, this will always be so. To remove one aspect, of the two, is not probable, possible, nor likely.

Romans 8:6-7 clearly tells us this:

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

The carnal mind of man cannot be in subjection to God.

Too many misunderstand the following verse:

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Many believe this "renewing" relates to renewing the carnal mind itself, but this can not be; or the writer of Romans taught a contradictory message?

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

This is the same renewing!

1st Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

This is what is washed, this is what is regenerated, this is what is renewed, and it is this that is resurrected.

This is the inner man that is raised and resurrected, and this is the Christ in you, your true identity; the only begotten of the father, that which is born again, that which is born from above, that which doesn't sin, that which can not sin, that which overcomes the world, that which is the light that lights every man that comes into the world, this is that which believes and abides in him, this is that which shall never die, nor see death, this is that which is not harmed of the 2nd death, and it is this which is the spirit which returns to God when our physical lives are over.

A question?

If knowing good and evil; which is likewise knowing evil and good, is bad, or wrong, are we worshiping the wrong, or a false God?

Genesis 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

God knows good and evil; why is it wrong that we do? Does this not in itself demonstrate we are more than mere robots, puppets, pets, or plants?

Without knowing good and evil, how could we discern one from the other? Should we become complacent, apathetic, or ignorant of either? Should we view the murderer, rapist, or the pedophile with indifference? Should we blind our eyes, ears, minds, and hearts from those who torture and sacrifice animals or children to pagan deities?

I thank God that I know good and evil, for in knowing both, I know one from the other; and I use this knowledge in choosing the good over the evil.
